AUCTA COOKIE NOTICE
Version 1.0 · In force from 12 October 2026 · Final
This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on getaucta.com and getaucta.app, operated by CaptaFlow LLC doing business as Aucta. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session tokens. They let a site remember you between pages and visits.
The cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign you in, keep your session, protect against fraud | Session token, CSRF token, session-expiry timer | Session, or up to 30 days for "remember me" |
| Preferences | Remember settings you choose in the app, such as sidebar state and which onboarding walkthroughs you have completed | Preference keys in local storage | Until you clear them |
That is the whole list. The marketing site at getaucta.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. Separately from cookies, the app keeps a first-party record of which pages you open inside Aucta for 90 days, visible to Aucta staff only, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third parties
Our payment processor (Stripe) sets its own cookies where its payment form appears, to prevent fraud and complete payments, under its own privacy policy. No other third party sets cookies through the Service.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the platform from working, because you will not be able to stay signed in. We honor Global Privacy Control signals, though because we do not sell or share personal information there is nothing additional to opt out of.
Changes and contact
We update this notice when the cookies we use change. Questions: support@getaucta.com.
